On 04 July 2019 our jam session “New Leadership? Authentic in turbulent times” #JS19 with over 100 participants took place at Klassikstadt Frankfurt am Main. Together we discussed and highlighted the opportunities and challenges of leadership in the context of New Work. The ideas of leadership are undergoing fundamental change. Will everything really turn different?

The term “jam”, which originates in jazz, means “improvising” and “experimenting” in order to create something new. We love co-creation! Jamming together was absolutely delightful. There were many opportunities for exchange among the participants – managers, HR professionals & consultants who discussed which leadership qualities promise success, how personality influences our leadership style and how leadership can be shaped in the future.

Our guest of honor, Dr. Robert Hogan, founder and president of Hogan Assessment Systems, spoke about “how humility outperforms charisma”. Friendly connections, the rich, inspiring agenda with impulse lectures, breakout sessions, discussions and the intensive exchange of ideas have a lasting resonance.

Let’s stay in touch on “New Leadership: Authentic in turbulent times” and learn from each other how leaders can shape the future. These are just some of the questions we ask ourselves:

  • What is important for leadership in times of change and upheaval?
  • What does it take to select suitable executives and managers and develop them purposefully?
  • What do New Work and New Leadership mean in concrete terms for you personally and your organization?
  • What are your experiences?
  • What are your current questions?

Here is our summary of the #JS19.
